Your way to Germany - This is how our program works
You want to do vocational training in Germany? Great!
We will help you step by step – from preparation in Madagascar to starting your professional life in Germany.
Our program consists of 2 phases:
Phase 1: Preparatory classes in Fianarantsoa - total duration approx. 10 months - beginning 06 October 2025
Here's where it starts: During the first few months, you'll receive everything you need to get settled in Germany in Fianarantsoa. You should expect to spend approximately 7-8 hours per day, 5 days a week .
It awaits you

Intensive German lessons - so you can communicate well in everyday life and at work. Goal: Language level B1 or B2, including certification by the Goethe-Zentrum.

Cultural training – you'll learn how life in Germany works: What's important in everyday life? What do companies and colleagues expect?

Professional basics - depending on the area in which you later do your training, you will gain initial insights and important basic knowledge.
This phase prepares you optimally - so that you can get off to a great start in Germany!


Phase 2: Vocational training in Germany - beginning August 2026
After the preparation in Madagascar, the next step is to travel to Germany and start your dual vocational training.
This means you'll work in a company and attend vocational school at the same time—theory and practice complement each other perfectly. You should expect to commit approximately 40 hours per week .
A dual training program usually lasts 3 to 3.5 years .

Who pays what? An overview for you:

Phase 1: You get involved yourself!
You will be responsible for your own living expenses during the first phase in Fianarantsoa. The only fee for the lessons is a small 15,000 Ar per month—that's it! -
Off to Germany - Afrika-Dual takes care of it!
Afrika-Dual covers the costs for exams (Goethe-Zentrum), for your visa, all necessary documents, and the flight to Germany. You don't have to worry about anything. -
During training: money from the company!
During your training, you will receive a monthly salary from your training company - this will allow you to easily pay for rent, food, and other things yourself.
